Formerly known as:  A.W.F.G (A Word from God) DANCE MINISTRY which was established in September 2010 by Shandria (Tennie) Sanchez Founder/ Creative Arts Director & Asst. Director Ashley Brooks (daughter of Shandria)

 

 Soaring into Destiny Dance Team is a traveling Outreach Team that is not affiliate with any church.  The team is based out of Newnan, Ga. which consist of youth ages 6-13 and young adults ages 14 & up from the community and surrounding areas that work together to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through creative expression of dance and dramatization.

 

The team strives to inspire, encourage and empower the communities they reach through innovative and colorful events that they host annually (Dance, Musical and Stage Play Productions) that will reach the communities at large regardless of race, creed, and nationality. 

 

The team has ministered at several different local and out of town churches, programs, events, and productions.  The Soaring Eagle Awards Banquet 

(SEPT 2012) Orlando, FL and participated in local community events such as MLK Parade, Christmas Parade and Delivering fruits to the Nursing Homes.  The ministry received their 1st Award “Legendary of Dance Ministry” (JUN 2013) presented by CMAF/WHEM Ministries in Orlando, Florida.  

 

Soaring into Destiny Dance Team also enhance praise & worship services and events using flags, Streamers, billows and other implements to “SET THE ATOMSPHERE”. 

 

They are proud to announce as of Jan 2014, they will be slowly transitioning from a dance ministry to an Academy of Performing Arts.
